The Rocoulm is a demon from the Homestar Runner cartoon Jibblies 2. The Rocoulm is associated with the tarot deck Strong Sad was showing to Pom Pom.

The deck has four known cards:

II: THE ROCOULM

XVII: CLUTCH of GLAIVES

XVIII: the LOADING

XXVII: END of TOON

When The Rocoulm is drawn, it may turn into a painting and say, "Come on in here," giving The Jibblies to whoever beholds the demon.

The demon may give The Jibblies over the phone. When a painting of the Rocoulm is discovered, The Jibblies are sure to follow. When The Rocoulm offers the victim to "Come on in here," the invitation may be accepted by the foolhardy, who will become trapped in the portal dimension of the painting, sharing cake and tea for all eternity. This fate then appears painted upon the painting.

When Homestar Runner entered the painting, he beheld The Goblin dancing the Goblin dance.

QuestionsEdit

Q: Could The Rocoulm painting be based on a painting based on the "Pickman's Model" story by H. P. Lovecraft?

A: No. But paintings associated with that story do feature a crouching goblin. In the commentary for Strong Bad Email #133, Mike Chapman explains, "That was based on a, um, painting that, uh, my friend Jason Fields had in college that his mom did that he had on the wall of this weird creepy goblin." Without verification of the exact painting, we will never know.

Q: Why is The Rocoulm holding a torch?

A: Exactly why the The Rocoulm is holding a torch is unknown.

Q: Can the Glaive from Krull defeat the Rocoulm?

A: Probably. Due to its appearance in the deck, it is likely. However, this would require travel to the planet Krull.

Q: How can I break the spell of The Jibblies?

A: Good question.

Q: What happens during Jibblies 1?

A: Good question.
